I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the webcomic is coming along in spite of setbacks -- such as my copy of Photoshop expiring and having to replace it with what turned out to be a far better programme for our purposes (ComicWorks). Added to this the ease of Deleter's XP-Pen, and I finally have a manga to be proud of.

The bad news is that those setbacks did cause us to push back our release date to April, since we're going back and reworking all the pages before page one with the exception of page 3. What's more, balancing manga production and my current job (though that may not be for much longer, if it turns out Tokyopop likes what they see and gives us an advance on a contract) has sapped all my free time so that I have little time do do much of anything else.

That means that when I get around to updating MythNet, it will be the last time I update for a good long while. And considering Rob hasn't been able to update Mitsukai in two years due to the project, I seriously doubt I'm going to be able to update from the current layout. Web design has always been simply a hobby for me, so unfortunately, it's going to have to take a back seat to Hana Road. But considering how few non-Japanese have a real shot at the big time (the world is just now waking up to the fact that the Koreans and the Chinese in Hong Kong have already caught up to the creatively-sapped Japanese), I think it's a small price to pay.
